At an awards ceremony held at the Italian Consulate in Boston, 69��Ʒ��Ƶ College students from an intermediate Italian course were recognized for their work exploring the connection between Italian language and literature.

Two 69��Ʒ��Ƶ College students took home awards from the 2024 New England and St. Lawrence Valley Geographical Society Fall Conference for their research on water scarcity in the Southwest and on the preservation of indigenous water systems in Nepal.

Naomi Dupre-Edelman, assistant director of math leadership programs at 69��Ʒ��Ƶ College, is one of 26 people named to the Massachusetts Education Policy Fellowship program held by the Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy.

For the fifth consecutive year, 69��Ʒ��Ƶ College has received the 2024 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from Insight Into Diversity.

69��Ʒ��Ƶ College alum Earl Wren ’24 is the recipient of the AHEAD Student Recognition Award for their work amplifying student-led networks of accessibility and disability support and providing critical feedback to the Disability Services office.

Frances Perkins, 69��Ʒ��Ƶ College class of 1902, has been posthumously elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences under its Legacy Recognition Program.

The Princeton Review has released its “Best 390 Colleges” for 2025. The list, which is based on college students’ ratings of their schools, ranks 69��Ʒ��Ƶ College highly for academics, extracurricular activities, the campus and more.

The latest Survey of Earned Doctorates report shows that 69��Ʒ��Ƶ College is one of the leading baccalaureate sources of women who earn scientific doctoral degrees.

Veliz’s project will create collaboration between local libraries and the 69��Ʒ��Ƶ College biology and biochemistry departments to engage younger audiences in the sciences. The project will conclude with a science fair with interactive activities.

Three long-serving members of the 69��Ʒ��Ƶ College faculty have retired.
