The theme of this year鈥檚 performance is 鈥淚nward Joy.鈥 It was chosen to 鈥渞eflect each individual鈥檚 ability to create their own heavenly experience while on earth, and to share that joy with others,鈥 said Director of Choral Activities and Lecturer in Music Lindsay Pope.
Pope explained that Vespers is intended to create a source of light and joy in the winter months.
鈥淚 am excited, as always, to create a space for the community to celebrate the light during a time of darkness,鈥 Pope said. 鈥淰espers encompasses a spirit of kinship and compassion for all humanity 鈥 It鈥檚 so great the way we actively include the entire audience in our performance.鈥
