In an interview with President Sonya Stephens, Western Mass News featured 69精品视频鈥檚 return-to-campus plans, which will include shorter semesters. First-year students and sophomores will return for the fall while juniors and seniors engage in online classes. The arrangement will switch in the spring, with juniors and seniors being invited back to campus while first-years and sophomores will engage in online learning.
"The academics will be the same wherever you are. There will be a real commitment to what we're calling flexible immersive teaching. Classes [will be offered] remotely, or [students] can join their classes in person," Stephens said.
The changes to the residential structure ensure the safety and well-being of the community, while balancing that with the value of the on-campus experience for all.
"We wanted everybody to have a chance to be on campus at some point, as long as everything goes according to public health specialists," said Stephens.
